and think ....NOT ANOTHER COMEDY MOVIE!!! Well eventhough its main actors have all been seen in comedy movies and cannot be taken seriously out of this category , this movie is special, at least it surprised me.
Director: David Franker.
It's the persuit for life, the persuit for something that makes you happy, careless of what people say and think, regardless of who you leave behind ,or what you leave behind. It's a way back to yourself a thing you've always wanted to do and the need to search for your dream. Forward the movie of your life to the time you are a grownup in your forties, in a job you've never wanted to do, in a life you've never wanted to have and decide to press the pause botton. Is it too late? Does some kind of force glue me to the ground and oblige me to continue here? Of course not! Life's too short to live unhappy. This movie talks about that.
THE BIG YEAR, America's favorite outdoor activity. Plot: three people travel on a yearlong birdwatching experience.
Unexpectedly, as more countries, mountains and sceneries keep arising in the movie, so does the friendship between the characters. In your life you will encounter Soul mates which you never thought you had until you face peculiar situations.
Time passes by so quickly, quicker than we think, and there's always too much stress to do what we want. There are always obligations and compromises and people forget to have time for themselves.
In my opinion this movie makes me admire how this three people leave behind their obligations and say..: HEY I WANNA GO SEARCH FOR BIRDS ALL YEAR LONG WITH MY CAMERA. I mean WHY NOT?
Personally, I would pack my bags at this instant and go with them, it's not just about birds, it's the situations and adventures you encounter in your way...
That pretty much sums it up, theres nothing special to this movie's plot, but there is to its narrative events that sorround this adventure.
LETS ALL HIT THE BIG YEAR! GO BIG OR GO HOME.
